Strange, normally if you create a user and run a browser it should work. Still you should also add your username to the /etc/group file. Add it to wheel, audio, video, users, but honestly that shouldn't have any effect on why your browsers won't work as non-root. What is the output when you try running a browser as a user? Run the browser in a shell and post the output.

Sorry To take so Long to get to answer this,Thanks to those who answered.
AnyWay I am using Stux which is a Slackware Distro & I found It has a Control box which I found has Selections for fixing this sort of thing which I found a bit strange at first but could be to do with it adding priviledges for a new user. But all seems to be Well now.
Thanks

You can install Slackware 13.0 without kde4 and install the kde3 packages available Here.

Run pkgtool once after installing, and you will get kde3 with Slackware 13.0

You can also add a new user with adduser command and add additional groups such as wheel while adding, it will give you all the default resource access.
