anyone managed to get the 9800xt up and running on redhat 9 with 3d acceleration enabled. i've tried a few how-to's ( none specific to redhat ) and i can't get them to work.
anyone link me to a how-to link that they have tried and tested and know works, please help.
What model is the 9800xt? Have you been to www.linux-laptop.net? They have how-tos for a huge range of machines (assuming, of course, that the 9800xt is a laptop).
The 9800 xt is a top of the line Graphics Card not a podgy laptop one . I have one too and am just installing Red Hat Linux 9 now on my other computer. I'll let you know if I can get her started.
