Suse 9 for amd64 and 9800XT


is there anybody here with the suse 9 for amd64 distro managed to get the 9800xt fully up and runing. i'm really at my wits end to the point of even considering buying a nvidia card replacement.

how did you manage this seemingly impossible task? PLEASE HELP ME, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
