When I am running an application on my redhat 9 distribution, it crashes displaying a message "XLoadQueryFont: failed creating font set ", along with a name of a font . The same error is displayed three-four times with different font names.
Application shows a blank window and it crashes. Why is this happening ? Any Idea how I can fix this ?

I think the application is developed in C. thanks in advance

Which application? Which fonts is the application complaining about? Does the application's web site or documentation advise you to make sure any specific fonts are installed?
