Question Creating a new icon set and wondering...

Can anyone tell me where the icon is located for the default "open recent" icon?

I've looked everywhere but I can't find where the system is finding this icon from. I am in the middle of porting some wicked osx icons to gnome and I want to replace the default gnome icon desperately.... can anyone tell me where this icon is located? It looks like a little brown folder.

It depends on what distro you are using. For example, Mandrake the icons are in /usr/share/icons
and in SuSE they are in /opt/kde/icons. Your best bet is to open kde, open the kde find utility, and search for (for example) 48x48 under the / directory.

This will search for all files and directories named 48x48. It will point you to where your icons are located.
