I'm not sure what exactly happened, but I logged in, read a couple of posts, then replied to one. When I clicked on submit, I got a page that said I was not logged in. My suggestions:
1. When someone who believes they are logged in tries to submit a post or reply, there should be a way to insure that he/she will be returned to the post/reply, in the same forum he/she was already in.
2. If a page came from post data (such as a login or edit screen, the board should skip over that so that the poster doesn't get in a loop.
Unrelated:
3. The bold, italic, underline , etc. "dialog box" is irritating. It is hard to put in combinations such as bold/italic or bold/underline. Is there any way this can be changed? This is the only one of some six boards that I belong to that does this...

The only time I had this was after I had been playing with my browser settings - I think I had set 'no cookies' and 'no cache'. Check your settings.

This already happens - again, check your settings.

Could you clarify this please - I don't understand what you are asking.

I don't ever use the dialogue boxes - [ b ][ / b ] is bold, [ i ][ / i ] is italics, [ quote ][ / quote ] is quote (all without the spaces). This is, AFAIK, one of the limitations of using gui controls.

OK, I have Mozilla set to ask me for all cookies. It is not too much of a problem on most forums, but there are some that add a cookie for every image, and ad that comes up. I will not allow cookies for some ads, because they are spam generators, so I have to do the 'ask first' mode in Mozilla, but for this site, I accept all cookies,. most of the time. I have never turned off cache since I stared using the www! If I accept all cookies here why then does it stilll og me out?
OK, which other settings should I check? I accept all cookies, and I have cache active. Why then does it still not drop me back to my reply so that I can submit it? (It is not a major problem, just an irritant. I can hit back a couple of times to get past the login screen to my reply/post, but why? Other boards I am on, with the exact same browser settings do not do this! Why does this one?
Some times, when I hit the back button to get past the login screen that just came up, it will give me the 'form data' message, and then the login screen will come up over, and over again. It shouldn't do that.
Yeah, I can and have been recently, using the bbcodes instead of the dialog box. I was just wondering why tis board is the only one I have used that uses the dialogs instead of just inserting a tag in the text and then inserting the end tag when you hit the button again, which is how every other board I'm on does.

Thank you! (And I'm glad to see that it is apparently permanent!) Now if I can just keep from being logged out nearly every time I reply to a post, I will be happy...
Oops! I read too fast! I looked at my profile, and the only thing I can find related to cookies is one that automatically logs me in, which I cannot allow, and one that allows me to use cookies to browse, whatever that means. It is enabled, but the auto login by cookies is not. Ah well. I guess if that means I have to be a little impeded at times I guess I will have to put up with it. I can't understand though why having the same settings on other boards don't do that...
