cannot logout

Hi , all

I installed RH8 , the problem that I am facing now is

1. when I logout , there are 3 options
-logout
-shutdown
-restart PC

I can only select shutdown to end linux successfully , all
the other 2 , when I select them , it logout with a sudden
black out screen , then keyboard scroll lock and cap lock
light flashing and screen have NO ,NOTHING , like those
shutdown messages display.

Any idea , any way that I can trace the shutdown process ?
where should I look into ?

I really have no clue what to do ,every time I have to force
reboot , Thanks .

You should really try to keep the same existing problems with their original thread where you've recieved replies already with some suggestions.
