cs-cam - I don't see a blog post for you - are you sure it went through?
carl0ski - the link *does* go to your blog...as long as you actually have one.

It should have been automatic - we'll look into it ASAP. Thanks.

Yes, I've noticed this a long time ago. The side bar link goes to the most recent list of blog entries from everybody while clicking on any blog title shows a particular person's blog entries in reverse chronological order (recent first).

Also it would be nice to have dates showing on the blog entries.

Harishankar, having dates is a good idea - can you put it in the bug tracker so it doesn't slip through the cracks? Thanks.

Okay, that seesm to answer my question about how to find other peoples blogs....it'd be nice if there was just a list of blogs with a blip of the latest entry or something...

Or even a mini vbulletin-blog howto to RTFM...

I would agree that it seems difficult to just take a stroll through the blogs. I do think that the blogs could offer a great way to expand the sum total of Linux knowledge available at this site. I'm interested in starting a blog for the first time with this space that LQ is offering, but it seems a little bit of a waste of time right now, if there is no easy way for visitors to see, search, or sort the blogs that are being written.

A couple of features related to the blogs.

1. Allow a longer title.

2. Allow a small graphic to add some individuality. I understand the wisdom is not allowing avitars and graphics in your signature. It would "dirty" up the forums. However, a blog is supposed to be a personal space, so allowing a small graphic that gives some individual mark to the blog space would be nice. I would be happy if you limited the size, number of colors (even black and white only would be fine), format, and file size.

Thanks for the new feature though. I'm sure Jeremy and the gang will turn this into something really cool.
