I am looking for a Linux based Web log that does a number of different things. I have been looking at Slash, Greymatter, Movable Type, and Squish Dot. What I really need is a blog that does the following things:

1. Allows attachments of any type file
2. Spellchecks users submissions (very important)
3. Email notification when someone replies
4. Live chatrooms
5. Open and password protected forums (to post to the open forums a user would not have to register or login)

The most important of these are #1,2, and 5. If anyone has information on a good blog that fits these needs I would be greatly appreciative. I have been looking at Greymatter but can't find an add-on spellchecker for it.

I apologize for reopening this old discussion but I 've been in a similar search myself and based on what you've listed, I've found b2 or pMachine to fit this description nicely. Have you found any that would be worth mentioning since your first post of this topic?
