Forgot password and email here on LQ!

As the title says I forgot my email and LQ password.. I use Proton mail so I don't think I can recover it I don't mind too much I can just make a new account, but wondering is there's anything else I can do? Just to clarify as soon as I log out I can no longer log back in..

Just saying the only reason some one would hack this account is to slander my name, as I already have full access to contacts, etc.. And I don't see why someone would want to slander me..

I am sure Jeremy can help you, unless you are trying to pull a fast one... but that is too painful to think about, I can still hear the screams late at night...

If you happen to be in Windows, you may find it in the Credential Manager.

Per Astrogeek's comments, twice over, please use the Contact Us link shown on every LQ page.

In the future, recommend you do not use a government computer for any personal things. That recommendation can also extend to any general work computer. You work for a company, they own the assets you are using, as well as the network you are operating within.

Do not worry about your status, or your reputation. Instead embody the spirit of LQ where we try to help as volunteers, over time things will change, however there are no special attributes to holding the title of something, it merely means you've managed to post above a certain threshold of times. Better to post effectively versus in quantity.

I'll be able to use LQ on this account until my browser crashes, and I already sent a message to Jeremy but he hasn't replied. But thanks again everyone for your suggestions!

Not that I'm suspicious in any way, but how did you realise that you'd forgotten your password if you were already logged in? If you're using a government computer, how come you have such a long browser session? Why did you spell "navel base" incorrectly (which would be pretty unusual for a service person in the States) and then delete it altogether? How did you manage to lose not only your LQ password but also your Proton account key at the same time?
