Working "in the vicinity" of AT&T

Well, we landed a contract with AT&T to manage 34 of their IDCs (Internet Data Centers).
Exciting stuff and I look forward to the challenges.

But have a little reservation about "transferable skills", and whether or not my 24 years in IT
is going to compliment or impede the tasks I will be charged with.

My desire is to be "prepared" but I'm pretty sure that is not possible since I believe AT&T has their "own way"...
