I have been using Linux on and off for several years, tried most of the "major" disto's and lots of the smaller ones.
Recently due to my interest in Video encoding & DVD conversion and a post over in the doom9.org forums i decided to put my own distro together, aiming at the Linux newbie (but not exclusively) who wants to be able to switch to Linux but not lose the ability to encode video and backup DVD's
In the very early experimental stages but due to peoples interest following a mention in a Distrowatch have made it available for people to use and test
Due to funds I am in the process of trying to find some hosting for it, so if anyone is willing to help on that front give me a shout
If anyone is interested follow the links in my sig
Suprised I have never come across this Forum before seems a wealth of info here
one question, I notice you have a distribution list, is there a criteria of what is listed there, and how would i go about getting my little project listed
Go into the user Control Panel ("My LQ" at the very top of the page, "LQ Uset CP" to the right hand side, "Edit Profile" to the right hand side) and list your distro at the very bottom of the "Edit Profile" page). It's all freeform so type away!
