new to LinuxQuestions

Hi everyone, I've just registered. I installed Xandros 3 OS last April. I know how to use the shell and some other things. I decided to come here because I am sick of wasting so much time trying to research what the problem is. I'll try to help people here if I see anything that I can help with.

Welcome soar747

Great first post mate. I've been in this forum for a while and the very best way to learn something is to actually teach others .

I could not stop thinking about your nickname. Soar = gliding, 747 = Boeing? Do you like airplanes or am I trying to hard to read between the lines . Well, if that's the case, check out FlightGear:

http://www.flightgear.org/

It's an open-sourced, free Flight Simulator game that you might like.

Well, anyway, welcome to LQ.org once again!

Welcome to LQ. You're right: it's much better to learn together than to learn alone, so read along, post your questions and share you knowledge. See you around!

thanks

To Mega Man X: Yes, I love airplanes. I have been traveling on boeing aircraft for every year of my life since I was two. I have a passion for the 747 aircraft.

Thank you for the link. I've been looking for something like that.

To everyone: Thank you for the warm welcome.
