Xine Video

Okay, im newer to linux but I've been learning alot in the past weeks. I did install xine to play my .vob files, and the picture was great. Then I went and installed a bunch more stuff, such as vmware, JAVA, kernal headers etc. Then I went back to play another movie using xine and the video output has just random colors, with scan lines overlaying them. I can play the DVD but then when I try to see the picture I dont see nothing happening. I can hear the audio, I do not know why it is doing what it is doing. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
chris

Did you try resetting your personal Xine settings to see if you accidentally enabled some wrong setting?

# mv ~/.xine ~/xine_settings_bkp
