VNC Setup

Hello,

I have asked several times for help on installing VNC on a Red Hat Linux box. No one has really been able to help me.

I'm not too familiar with working with the TAR files in Linux. Can someone please give me step-by-step instructions as to how to properly install the VNC viewer on my Linux box? Please don't just say do this or do that. Thank you!

Redhat 8.0 installed both vncserver and vncviewer. If you
aren't running Redhat 8.0, go to

http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/

If you are try locate vncserver

If found, go to
/usr/share/doc/vnc-doc-3.3.3r2
for all you need to know.

If not found, install from your Redhat CDs and repeat.

RO.
