PHPNuke: what is it??

I'm really curious what it is ... I try to find info but nothing is straight-forward. What is this thing?

Also, my Zina streaming server ( http://osrv.servehttp.com/stream ) is so plain. The creator reccomends using this PHPNuke thing to groovitize it. But how the heck can one do that?

Thanks!

PHP-Nuke is one of many PHP-based website content systems, sort of like Slashdot (although Slashdot admittedly uses Slash instead. These sorts of content systems are nifty and often very easy to use and provide a lot of functionality - overkill for all websites I have ever done.

So it's a visual thing? Kinda like skinning? That's really cool if that's what it is. Do I have to know PHP to use it? Cause I have no idea how to use PHP at all. I want to learn it though
