can't get phpnuke to work

I can connect to the admin.php site on my RH9 system (via a windows box h**p://linuxserver/admin.php), but it only shows up the html code.

What i am using:
Linux RedHat v9 (didn't install apache, mysql or php during initial install)
PHP-Nuke-6.9.tar.gz
MySQL-server-4.0.16-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-shared-4.0.16-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-shared-compat-4.0.16-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-embedded-4.0.16-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-devel-4.0.16-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-client-4.0.16-0.i386.rpm
Apache/2.0.40

I created a db called phpnukedb (from /var/www/ mysqladmin create phpnukedb) and did the next command as instructed in INSTALL ( mysql phpnukedb < sql/nuke.sql); this is what i have in the config.php

-----------
$dbhost = "linuxserver";
$dbuname = "****";
$dbpass = "****";
$dbname = "phpnukedb";
$prefix = "nuke";
$user_prefix = "nuke";
$dbtype = "MySQL";
$sitekey = "SdFk*fa28367-dm56w69.3a2fDS+e9";
$gfx_chk = 7;

Can anyone help me?

btw its on a LAN, and don't want to have it go out on the net.

Thanks
