PHPNUKE and DEBIAN

Tried to use a outdated link on the phpnuke site to setup debian and I could not get one thing to work and I was wondering why.

What ended up happening is that the page would come up in mydomain(dot)ca/html when what I wanted to do was bring it up in just mydomain(dot)ca

I tried moving the files up one directory, the page would load but the image links would not. I looked at the path and the only way I could load these images is if I put the files back in the original spot.

Can someone give a step by step on how to install PHPNUKE with MYSQL support specifically for debian, I searched the web like crazy and use the phpnuke domain but I feel that I am missing something.

Should I have uncompressed the file in /var?

If you are having working phpnuke in mydomain(dot)ca/html, you can put
a redirection from mydomain(dot)ca/ to there or put an alias directive to your apache configuration.
