I'm looking for resources on setting up a MythTv system. (Mythbuntu or other.) I mean actual instructions and step-by-step tutorials that a Linux amateur can actually use. (as opposed to commands, tips, & pointers for level-eleven Linux Pros)

Page 1 Paragraph 1:

I know there is a lot of information in these wikis, but

A) They seem to be oriented towards people who already know the missing info on setting up the system/hardware.

B) I don't know where to begin, and where to go from there.

Does anyone know of any (guided) tutorials on the subject?

Am I dreaming an impossible dream here? (of finding such documentation/ guides)
