Mozilla Messenger Profile In Use Error

Howdy,

I am having a problem starting Mozilla Messenger. It was working fine for a while and after booting into Windows, I came back to my Linux system (Mandrake 10, GNOME) and now, when I start Mozilla Messenger the profile manager pops up and asks me to choose a profile. I select the only profile listed which is the one I need, and it tells me "Mozilla can not use the profile C1 because it is in use. Please choose another profile or create a new one." I don't have any other instances of Mozilla running so I don't know why it thinks the profile is in use. Can anyone help?

Mahalo,

Craig

have a look in ~/.mozilla for a fale named "lock". Easiest is to use
Code:
find ~/.mozilla -iname "lock" -ls
edit: oh, yeah - then delete the lock file
