Thumbs down Major Redhat Crisis...not good

The only thing that i can figure is i tried to change the login screen, but to my dismay, when i logged out i found i cannot log back on. It goes through the whole thing where i enter my username and password, but beyond that it just freezes and a blank blue screen will stay there forever. I suppose theres hope though, because i can pull up a terminal window from the blank blue screen, i was wondering if there was a way to either login, or reset my settings so it will allow me to login?

HEy have you tried logged on as root??
Because you just need to type Root as your username and also the orginal password then try and fix things from then on!!
