I plan to buy a box just for linux and installed various distros of linux's onto it , on a home environment network (2 NT and one netgear router).

I heard that its better to get a computer with no intergrated component and probably intel cpu... is it true? Can someone tell me if the spec below is a bad choice or not?

i've never used a celeron, but i have never had any issue with amd or pent. and linux. granted i have only used linux on 3 different chips (athlonxp, pent3, and k6)
well i guess 4 if u count the router i made from a 386.
