Okay, I've been experiencing this from the start, and now that I completely switched my box to suse 9.1 and got all up and running, I'm still having problems with kopete. Everythings just works so perfectly, I wouldn't want to just leave it as is.

Kopete won't send or receive MSN file transfers at all. Yes, I've made the forwardings with my linksys router (ports 6891 to 6900 or just 6891, normal and uPnP, etc etc)

I would be very grateful if anyone could sort me out of that one. I've scouted the net (google.com/linux, LQ and some others) and I could'nt find anything. EXCEPT one spanish suse user in the lists. But no replies. Oh, and on kopete's website, they only talk about unblocking the 6891 port.

Which version of Kopete? And are you running a firewall on SuSE or is your firewall elsewhere?

This is kopete 0.8.1 and the firewall is a linksys BEFSR41 v2 router.
