Can recieve but no send files Kopete 0.80

Hi everyone. I am able to recieve files from people using the msn messenger network but I am not able to send. I would have thought if there was a problem with my firwall I would get the opossite.

Any ideas???

Hello,

Do you have a router? I had the same problem and sometimes and with some routers you need to forward ports 6891 to 6900 in order to be able to send files.

I personnaly have a Linksys router.

Nope no router, just a dial up connection with one machine connected to it. I spose it could be my firewall, but I think it lets everything out by default??? I would have thought I would have problems with things getting in from outside rather than from my machine.
