J-Pilot Syncing Problem

Hi

I am using the latest stable version of J-Pilot and Pilot link, a Sony T615c handheld and a usb port.

My problem.
I can get the handheld and J-Pilot syncing fine. But when I log out (of KDE) and log in again and try to sync (using J-Pilot), I get messages that the name and ID on the handheld are different than the name and ID from the previous sync. Or I get a K-Pilot message that the name "Bill Dika" is in K-Pilot but not on the handheld, "Do you want to make the handheld the same as K-Pilot?". Firstly, I am not using K-Pilot when this message comes up and secondly the name on the handheld is "Bill Dika".

When all this happens, I close J-Pilot, open Pilot link and have pilot link either read the name and ID off of the handheld or add a name and ID to the handheld depending on whether J-Pilot has changed the name and ID. After I have done this, I open J-Pilot and after one or two tries J-Pilot and the handheld will sync fine. I can then sync as often as I want. However, when I log out of KDE as user "dad" and log back in again as user "dad", my problem starts all over again. That is when I try to sync using J-Pilot I get the messages referred to above.

I would really appreciate any help with this problem.

Regards,
Bill Dika
