I have dual booted Ubuntustudio 7.10 with windows XP.
Most of the times is works perfect but every now and then the GRUB fails to load.
It just shows me the diffferent OS' i have to choose between(meaning ubuntu and xp) but then it freezes and i have to pres ctrl+alt+del in order to restart and then there the GRUB works fine.
Any ideas of why this happens and how to correct it?
Not sure if your keyboard freezes, but you can try pressing
Escape,
this puts grub into console mode, then e to edit a line, but you may not need to edit the line as you will see further boot messages.
