what is your grub.conf looks like?
and, have you tried the instructions in grub manual?:
During grub popping up, press "c" to enter command mode
Then, do the following:
grub> rootnoverity (hd0,0)
grub> makeactive
grub> chainloader +1
grub> boot
If the above does not work, I believe you have problems with your windows boot loader.
