GIMP question

Let us say that I have 2 circles.

Circle nr. 2 shall be 20 pixles to the right of circle nr. 1, and double as big. How can I do that?

I can't find how to do things I draw bigger (easy in Fireworks etc, mark -> scale), and how to specify exactly where something I have drawn shall be.

The problem here is that you're comparing
apples and oranges... Gimp isn't a vector
oriented program. If you want to use vector
graphics try Sodipodi. (Yes, I know that fire-works
can do bitmap-editing, too, but that's not the
point ;}) ...

Talking

just fool around what ur asking is simple... and wth does Vector Craphics have to do with this... to the person who responded above me...

His question regarded Vector Graphics in no manner...

Gimp 1.3 has some nicer features although its not finished but I woudl sitll reccoment it

Most Graphic editing programs have similar tools so anyhow...

Gimp doesn't even have a tool to
draw a circle, as such ... you make
a circular selection, and ... but you
know that, anyway.

Fireworks, like CorelDraw, MS Paint
and many others will let you draw a
vector based circle out of the box,
and even though objorkum didn't mention
how he made his circles, I'm certain
that this is what he was doing.

Tink

Thanks. It seems to me that sodipodi is only for gnome, and I use KDE. Are there some other vector drawing programs for KDE?
