Cygwin Questions

Anybody here use this program. As I understand it, it allows you to use Gnu's c compiler under a windows environment. I was wondering how well it works. Any serious issues with the resulting program running correctly under windows? Could you take the source code and recompile it using the Linux GNU compiler and have the program run under Linux as well or would some changes in the code be required?

Yes, GCC works just as well with Cygwin. Have a look at the Cygwin FAQ:

http://cygwin.com/faq.html

And for cross compiling, no idea how good it is (GCC version's a bit old), there's this:
