CVS produces read-only files on checkout

Hello,

I've ported my source files over the CVS the other day. To my surprise, every time I checkout from the server to my win client laptop, all the files are marked read-only. How can I tell CVS not to add the read-only property to source code files?

Thanks,
Peter

Refer to the Global Options part of the CVS manual.
You can override this behaviour by unsetting the $CVSREAD environment variable (if set) or by using cvs -w co whatever.
