Question Changing RedHat version

We installed RedHat version AS. Later realized that we have ES licenses. Is there a way change the install version to ES? As we installed/configured other software, we can not start from scratch.

Thank you very much

They are essentially the same product though there are limits imposed on ES that aren't there for AS.

Have a look at:
http://www.redhat.com/en_us/USA/rhel/compare/

If you put in your entitlement at RedHat then try to use up2date it will likely just limit you to ES bundles whereever that is a difference.

Removing existing redhat-release AS rpm and installing new redhat-release rpm of ES could help. Once done you need to run up2date.

However such paths are never recommended, might cause discrepancies in system.
