Will mozilla dial up by itself as in win ie?

Is is possible to get mozilla to dial up (modem) by just starting the program? I currently can ony get on line by startimg kppp and going through root user permission and then starting mozilla. Seems like a bit of a pain. Looking on the net I found a command line command of "adduser" to get rid of the root permission I assume? but when I tried that It appears I don't have it loaded in linux. Can I load that from my installation discs? I don't expect you to tell me exactly how to fix my problem but just point me in the right direction.

thanx barry

Give kppp a miss, read-up on pppd ... specifically,
read the options of ppp-go ...
Look at the -d option.

If you want you could write a small shell script that will load mozilla and kppp at the same time. shell scripts are just like batch files in windows so you can use normal shell commands to do heaps of things in one go.

example

#!/bin/sh

kppp &
mozilla &

After you have made the shell script create a launcher on the desktop that points to this file and associate the mozilla icon with it.
