from MOZILLA(win) ->MOZILLA(linux)

I've found the right way to use my Conexant HSF based internal modem with Linux.

Now i have to transfer all the settings ( bookmarks, cookies, image permissions... ), mail ( and their filters ) and address books from mozilla for windows to mozilla for linux.

With windows i was using 1.3, with linux 1.0, but this should not be a problem.

The import function doesn't contemplate this feature.

Does someone can help me?

Thanx a lot.

do you have your windows drive mounted in linux? if so, then you might be able to import that way, if not then you could just copy your bookmark file and and just do your settings over again. I would recommend getting Mozilla 1.3 or 1.4 though - it has come a long way since 1.0.
For your mail, you could copy your files over, but I would be inclined to just setup your accounts in Mozilla for linux and then just carry on from there.

I'm now downlaoding 1.3. Unfortunatly the bookmarks is the less important thing for me ( only 2 dozens ). The address book and the old mails are more important.

The problem copying all the files is that they are stored on a ntfs partition, and all the files ( and directories ) are copied as read only. And a chmod 666 doesn't seem to be enought.

The good thing is that the modem seem to work very well ( more than 1 hour now ).
