One more thing XMMS.


XMMS I know it can play video files because I did it in Knoppix 3.4. I just need to know how to set it up. I am new to linux completely new to it.

Do you have XINE installed,to get xmms to work I think you will need mplayer and the plugins for xmms or you could just use mplayer,I just use Xine.

I also suggest using xine. You could also check the xmms website (www.xmms.org) for any video plugins.

Okay I think I will try and get XINE. It seems to be what everyone likes.
