xmms-infopipe can't find xmms..

Hi, i have xmms installed (using the installer, an rpm in suse i believe) and when i want to install the tar ball xmms-infopipe it gives me this error during ./configure

checking for xmms-config... no
checking for XMMS - version >= 1.0.0... no
*** The xmms-config script installed by XMMS could not be found.
*** If XMMS was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the XMMS_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to xmms-config.

what can i do?

Thanks

# whereis xmms-config <<< will echo the path of it's location

# echo $PATH <<< will echo all paths stored here

If xmms-config's path is not in $PATH, then add that location to your $PATH variable.

do this ---> #locate xmms-config

eg. output--->/xxx/yyy/xmms-config

put the following in ur .bash_profile or .bashrc

XMMS_CONFIG="$XMMS_CONFIG:/xxx/yyy:."
export XMMS_CONFIG

save it..

open a new terminal

echo $XMMS_CONFIG

it should reflect the XMMS_CONFIG path........
