Question kontact kmail - html messages viewing problem

Hi guys,

I am a newbie and have Open SUSE 10 & KDE 3.5 installed. My problem is that the default personal information manager in KDE is kontact and the mail client is kmail.

Whenever somebody sends a message to me in html i cannot view the message the way it was meant to be viewed.

Yes, I went to the setting and selected "prefer html" now the text and formatting appear fine but i still dont get to view any images? All i get is an icon where the picture was supposed to be.

Don't the KDE guys know that "a picture is worth a thousand words"?!

Help, somebody please...

In kmail :

Select the menu

Settings > Configure KMail

Select the security option in the left pane

On the right pane, select the tab Reading and check 'Allow messages load external references from the Internet'
