Hello all,

Well... I attempted 2 install RH 9 some months ago and the kernel freezes at boot, so I tough it was a corrupted copy and just let it; but yesterday I buy fedora core and freezes just in the same place, and now I know both distros are NOT corrupted,

In Fedora it just don´t run any kernel at all,
but RH bots correctly the install kernel,
I try for rescue system, and there was a console but,... I just dont´t have a clue of what the heck to do; the RH9 booted fine once and after the third boot it freezes!

Please give me ANY c lue, I am slightly lost!

i think that may be incompatible hardware.....
is there anything obscure on your system you want to tell us about? scsi controller? studio-grade soundcard? flux copasitor? :P

boot:
prompt.... i think you hit f2 to bring up a list... i cant remember

well since the kernel lines pass too fast 2 me 2 read´em
I can tell you that the following next check after bios is kswapd, (I dont´t know if that is useful), anywais... the only hardware I think it could be a prob is the sound card ´cause of it has been a trouble under suse winxp mandrake etc.
but the sound test is severals lines there, The only success i´v got with the sound card is wiyh knoppix setting the modules from Ensonic 1373/1371 to 1370, as well, the rest of my hardware i an nothing amazing Intel.dot station 2300
