Epiphany does not recognize plugins

Even if flash and icedtea plugins are installed and fully working in Firefox 8, I can't get to use them in Epiphany 3.2 installed on the same system.
Instead of the flash video or the java applet, I see the icon for missing plugin...

I'm working on Fedora 16, Gnome 3.2, kernel 3.1...

How did you install flash? With Epiphany, you most likely have to manually install flash, whereas with firefox, the install is different.
