Java & Flash Plugins with Epiphany and/or Iceweasel

Hi Guys,

I have been using Epiphany and I guess I have a question regarding the Flash plugins
- I have installed flashplugins-nonfree and the Gnash equivalent GNASH 0.8.4
- The GNASH plugin doesn't work well and I want to have Epiphany point to the flashplugin-nonfree. How do I do that ?
I double checked with "aboutlugins" and I get that Epiphany uses GNASH and not the flashplugin-nonfree.

I had a look at the path to the flashplugin-nonfree and this is what I found

/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flash-mozilla.so
/libflashplayer.so
/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/libflashplayer.so
/usr/lib/swfdec-mozilla/lib/libswfdecmozilla.so

Isn't there a possibility using update-alternatives to tell my system to point to the flashplugin-nonfree plugin ?

Cheers to all

Riganta

aptitude remove swfdec-mozilla gnash

Simplest way would be to get rid of gnash and swfdec.

I use flashplayer-mozilla from debian-multimedia.org

File name: /usr/lib/flashplayer-mozilla/libflashplayer.so
Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22

I removed all of them and then reinstalled "flashplugin-nonfree". Now Epiphany is pointing to it and everything works a lot better.
I guess I have an older version of Flash because I got it from etch-backports. Shockwave Flash 9.0 r159.
May be I should get through multimedia !!

Cheers
