activex

currently i have installed wine and want to run a program that requires mozilla to have activex. i searched for old topics on this but all the links were dead and some did not solve my problem.
here is the error :
You need to install the Mozilla ActiveX control to
use Wine's builtin CLSID_WebBrowser from SHDOCVW.DLL

is their any way around this like using another broswer interface or how and where can i dl activex for mozilla

thx

Wine should just be able to bypass that error. As for ActiveX, it's disabled for the Mozilla browsers, since it's nothing but a security threat to any browser.

Found this site while googling around for the same question..

http://www.winehq.org/?issue=211#Embedding%20Mozilla's%20ActiveX%20Control

I dont think I understood much but this did the trick for me...

Add the following line to the wine config file

"shdocvw" = "native"
