to mount the drive, share it in windows and then run:

"mount -t smbfs //your.windowspc.name/share.name /mnt/windows/share.name -o username=YourUserName"

To browse linux through windows and vice versa, read up on smb, the man page is a good place to start.

To use ssh, download putty for windows, run 'service sshd start' in linux, and use putty to connect.

For desktop / display, you'll probably want to use vnc, check out tightvnc on sourceforge

sorry it's not 'all in one link', but that's asking for a bit much don't you thinkg

RedHat translation would be
To use ssh, download putty for windows, run '/etc/init.d/sshd start' and use putty to connect

:-)
Goold Luck!

Well I tried it on my desktop (rh9.0) as root and the command service was not available.... Maybe some packaging difference ?? But the other command is, and will be always available...

Anyway, the goal was to restart sshd :-)
