code to see the alive ip's

i am interested in looking at alive ip's
if i am not wrong the command is "./alive",,,

Question:::

where shud i put the code,,

what shud i specifically do to make the command working ,,,

Not too sure what you mean by 'alive' IPs.

If you mean 'IPs assigned to interfaces on this host', then you can use

Code:

/sbin/ifconfig

Perhaps you mean the information provided by 'arp'?
