Capturing what is on the screen through the CLI

I have been telneting into my switches at work and when I need to send data to Cisco for issues I have been having trouble copying the data from the screen to a file or wherever because certain show commands can be very long. What is the best program out there that can make my life easier?

personally i'd just say make your terminal longer... never been an issue here. you could use te to capture the output...

telnet myswitch | tee output.txt

that will only show the data from the switch, not your commands...
