Thankfully, my internet connection can load 2 full-sized screenshots just like that.
Others might not be so happy.
I always wonder why LQ doesn't have a stricter policy about that.

You downloaded 3MB of image data, it's not a lot ye know...
My screen is large enough to read the fonts without any problems plus i hate antialiased fonts since they always look washed out, even on a 4k display.
And just look at how clean terminus looks in contrast to what everyone else is using.

...says someone who clearly does not have any connection problems, or data caps.
The total size of this page - incl. your "measly" 3MB - is 3.24MB...
As a side effect, your full size images also mess up the page layout.
On a more constructive note: please use clickable thumbnails from now on.
PS: I totally approve of Terminus as a desktop font, no need to justify yourself on that count.

Experimenting in VM before committing to bare metal. Surprisingly fast and elegant. I didn't want to go with deepin proper because all Debian-based distros seem to have intermittent connectivity issues with the Intel wifi on my Thinkpad T61 (strange but true... no other distros exhibit this behavior).
Found out DDE was in the Arch repos, and so...

More fun in VMs. openSUSE Tumbleweed and Windowmaker; Plasma 5 apps work nicely with it, along with Firefox.

This has been a very satisfying lightweight setup: openSUSE Leap with icewm. They do a really nice job with icewm OOTB, in my opinion.

LQ does horrible things to uploaded images.
Unfortunately your plate theme looks all mushy.
tenr's own preview is slightly better.

Not my favourite, but fluxbox' continued compatibility with its own theme format is a Good Thing indeed!
