Linux Mint 19.2 with Mate DE, Dell Inspiron 15-3567 with 8 GB RAM
I made this puppy in January, 2019 from photos found online.
I like to have all my most used apps available on the top panel.
Mostly because I'm getting older and cannot remember what apps I have.
Conky does a nice job of giving me sys data now, when I want it.

Made me look into Chernobyl today, keywords "pripyat" and "exclusion zone".

Many people assume that Chernobyl is completely abandoned, but in fact, there are squatters and animals all throughout the exclusion zone. However, because of the nearly universal fear of continued radiation poisoning, it is doubtful that Chernobyl will be repopulated anytime soon.

Also this and this (I was going for the images).

Yes, the entire Chernobyl event is of great interest to me. I've studied it extensively. I, of course, remember when it happened in '86, but never had a major interest in it until I started playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl back in '06. Playing that game really spurred my interest in the event.
Current-day pics of the NPP and the surrounding areas of the Exclusion Zone are amazing. Search around. There are numerous sites with stories and pics of this event and its effects on the landscape, flora/fauna, and the human remnants of nearby villages.

Must be fresh. Pretty sparse. Long in the tooth defunct Jessie 32 bit install on a IBM T430

No hurry yet on deciding what is running next on here.
I just know I am more sedate now than earlier when I used to run experimental, testing, and unstable rolling installs.

^ nice, Terminus on a 1920x1080 screen. You must be young (good eyes).
Thankfully, my internet connection can load 2 full-sized screenshots just like that.
Others might not be so happy.
I always wonder why LQ doesn't have a stricter policy about that.
