Not much different than the defaults, because I finally get Gnome 3 and how it's intended to be used (keyboard-centric). Once I overcame 30+ years of "desktop" metaphor habits, it makes sense and I'm now more efficient than ever. And I spend ZERO time tweaking my setup.

This is my media laptop running Devuan Linux. Still running KDE 4 series. I spent some time setting the looks up just right.

Ubuntu MATE with the Plasma Desktop (for some reason, that gives me a perverse pleasure) on a Zareason Mediabox:

Swisswatch and GKrellM to the right, VLC and the MATE terminal shaded. The wallpaper is from my collection.

Windows 8.1 in a VirtualBox VM with Fluxbox on Ubuntu MATE. On the right, GKrellM and Swisswatch.

I've been using Cntrl + key to blow up frank's desktop pics. For better viewing.
Long in the tooth Linux Lite install that is retiring sooner than later.

Darn, it, rokytnji, when I saw the above, I knew it was from you. When I scrolled up to see who posted it, I was right.
Here is one from tonight: Plasma on Ubuntu MATE (I took the screenshot because I really liked the wallpaper, which is from my collection):

I rather like MATE, but I like KDE more. And this box really rocks under Fluxbox.

I notice a grammatical error in my post above, but no "edit" button appears. I am puzzled.
