Cool Post your FC5 screenshots here !!


so, its a hardware accelerated desktop at last, so lets see what all can be done with it by posting some screenies

im using a 5 year old laptop and FC5 looks sweater than XP on my friends latest laptops ( MUHAHAHAHAAAA!!! )

Specs :
Intel 3 Mobile 1.0 GHz
256 MB Ram
Trident Microsystems Cyberblade integrated Graphics with 16 mb ( shared )
no cd/dvd drive !!

right now i would safely say ive got the best looking laptop at my uni, thanx to the guys at Fedora.

wayyyyyy faster than XP mate the bootup may be a bit longer but apps load much faster.

I remember reading during the beta that FC5 was now optimized for Pentium 4... and on my Celeron-D laptop (same generation as P4) it really flies. I'm not exagerating when I say it boots TWICE as fast as SuSE 10 did on same machine.

using the aero black theme with the alpha cube windows borders and glass icon set and to top it off a Holly Velance wallpaper.

well, like i said, there is one thread for screenies out there already but i was keen on having one for FC5 and only FC5, just to show the ppl what it can do, and BTW, that thread is like 4 years old now i rekon and quiet a few of them are broken links.

just did a quick re-installation of FC5 and spent 5 mins but the results are sweet !
