Another Mandrake 9.2 on the Laptop

I am new to Linux and I loaded 9.2 on my Solo Laptop. I come to the command prompt and login. How do I start X or get to KDE? Also during the install is there a way to tell it to boot to the GUI?

Thanks,
Redneck

Use command "startx" and go to Configure your computer to set up your bootloader to using KDE environment.

Unless you installed in expert mode and told it not to boot into X, then it will do so automatically. Most likely there is a problem with your configuration that is preventing it from booting into X and it is dropping you back to terminal.

If "startx" doesnt work, let us know.
