DPMS Doesn't work

Hi all,

I configured my xorg.conf to use DPMS:

For some reason, when I run "xset q" it shows that DPMS is disabled. I can manualy enable it with "xset +dpms", and it works OK. What's wrong with my configuration?

I had to put the DPMS option in the "Device" section (the video card). If that doesn't work, you can always put xset +DPMS in your .Xsession file or something.

Thanks for helping,
I tried adding 'Option "DPMS"' to the device section, and also added "xset +dpms" to my .xinitrc, and it still doesn't work.

When I run xset q I get:
...
DPMS (Energy Star):
Standby: 1200 Suspend: 1800 Off: 2400
DPMS is Disabled
...
and after running xset +dpms:
Standby: 1200 Suspend: 1800 Off: 2400
DPMS is Enabled
Monitor is On

Everything was fine and DPMS used to work untill I ran xorgconfig to change some settings, and I didn't back up my old xorg.conf.
Any ideas?

For .xinitrc I think maybe it gets run before the X server gets started up properly, try:
