[Urgent]WD160GB HDD integration with IBM pallas
To whome it may concern,
I used with Kernel 2.4.17. It had such a limitation recording upto 160GB data. So, we applied new version of patch named "ANDRE patch" to perform LBA48 addressing.
As a result of this, the kernel recognises the 160GB HDD. But it does not store data in a proper location. meaning the data stored has been damaged
※environment
Partition is divided into 3.
1. hda1 : 150GB
2. hda2 : 2GB
3. hda3 : 2GB
We have formatted hda2 in ext3 and we used raw-write with 1~1.5GB on the hda1. After that our file system has been damaged in terms of data stored.
In addition, hda1 has been also damaged when we did raw-write in a large number on the hda1.
Could you please help me to solve this problem?
